All Quiet on the Western Front … at least in regard to the Ex and the home this past Saturday and Sunday. It appears as though no one came to the house this weekend to finish up any packing. As of Friday there were more things missing, but that was from the week’s activities. The wife put tape on the doors so that she could tell if I or anyone else was in the house. I took video as I walked through. I didn’t find anything else damaged other than the internal doors where she broke through days prior. There was glass all over the driveway entering the front of the house though. It looked like the vase and glass beads that I bought with the kids for them to give their mom on Mother’s Day. All the silk flowers were gone. I guess she must have dropped it out of her van when moving stuff and she never bothered to clean it up. Either that or it was a message to me. Funny, I don’t remember getting anything she would have purchased on Father’s day. Oh wait, I do remember … she brought the kids to the dollar store and each one got to pick out an item for me. That was so nice of her. Read the rest of this entry »
TGIF – Electricity is back on … but wait – another problem has arisen!
After yesterday’s vengeful episode of my ex turning off of the electricity in the house, power has been restored and the account is now under my name so that she cannot call to have it shut off again.
However, now there is a new situation arising. The school district that my kids currently attend contacted me this morning trying to get in touch with my ex-beloved. It seems that they don’t take kindly to having kids attend their schools when the kids no longer live in the district. Oh shit. I’ll give you one guess at who is going to go ballistic and come after my ass. The lady on the phone said that as of Monday, the kids are not to return back to the current schools and that they are contacting the schools in the district that they are currently living. I had a voice mail left for me this morning letting me know that the electricity was turned off, the oil delivery was cancelled and the garbage pickup was no more. Wow. At least she left me a message. Too bad she didn’t tell the tenant that she was renting to that she was doing any of this.
You know, if I remember correctly - the police officer, who was called the prior week when the ex wife broke into the tenant’s apartment, told my ex that with tenants rights - you cannot shut off the electricity and you cannot break into the apartment. The tenant was given the option to press charges that afternoon, but begrudgingly decided not to because my kids had just arrived at the house and she didn’t want to do it in front of them. The police let my ex off with a warning. Read the rest of this entry »
Well guess what is missing today … the brand new water heater. It was a replacement for the faulty one that is currently in the house and was received through warranty. It is a $1000 80 gallon lifetime warranty heater.
I suppose in her mind this is to be considered her “personal property.” The worst part is I can’t do anything about it. The police can’t help. They tell me I have to work it out
with my lawyer and the court. So all I can do for now is to sit and wait. What’s even more puzzling is that she got her new husband to do this. You can’t be so stupid to think that removing it from the house was the right thing to do much less legal. He really didn’t give that much consideration when he removed the ovens, refrigerator, chandeliers or tractor.
What kind of people do this? What kind of place do we live in where the police have their hands tied to do anything about it?
This weekend I visited my home to take a look at what my ex-wife left me after the divorce was finalized. I’m glad I brought a video camera and a witness with me because no one would believe me that her and her new husband would do this.
Check out the video Below.
The bottom line is that she is “not all there” and has put me and my kids through hell for the past 3 years with courts and lawyers and police and creditors and banks. Foreclosure is approaching and I can’t seem to get past it. My kids and I are going to wind up without our home while their mother remarries 9 days after the divorce papers were signed. She told the kids they had a new daddy … 5 days later.
I need help with legal costs and outstanding loans and the bank and my home. I can’t lose everything because this woman decided that after 16 years of marriage, she wanted to go out and “hang” out with the guys at night, while I stayed home with the kids.
I’ve opened an account with Paypal and could really use some support to help get us through this. I expect to have this site filled with photos and stories of how this all transpired over the past 3 years in an effort to help others. My story hasn’t ended yet and I’m sure there will be plenty of new items added as well.
If are so inclined to help support - $1, $5 … whatever you could spare, that would be so great of you! I’m more than happy to list a contributors name to the site and post their stories as well. I just need to get us back on our feet and out of foreclosure.
