You Need to Know
I received a letter today from the ex. It was titled “You Need to Know” and it informed me that she and “Ron” were married on August 29, 2007 and that she and my kids now reside with Ron at his home some 18 miles away. Well isn’t that nice! I guess it would be if the following items weren’t true:
- Our Divorce papers were officially signed 9 days earlier on August 20th.
- She is currently appealing the divorce.
- She met “Ron” less than 9 months prior.
- She told our kids that she got married 5 days later when I returned them on Labor Day after having spent July and August living with me.
- She spent the last 3 years holding things up in court under the guise that she will remain in the marital home with the kids and either refinance or buy me out.
- The custody decision was highly based on the fact that the kids would stay with the individual who stayed in the house.
- She hadn’t paid the taxes for 3 years and now the bank has a forced escrow on the house that makes the monthly payments impossible for me to take over.
